Eating Bananas Healthy Benefits For Babies

Banana is one of the very commonly available fruits in the world and has great health benefits for babies. Some of the health benefits of banana for infants include easy on stomach, controls diarrhoea, treats constipation, helps in reducing skin inflammation and improves urinary disorders as it’s a wholesome fruit for babies.

A banana is basic, but bursting with nutrients, making it an ideal fruit to choose as one of baby’s first “solid” foods.

Potassium, Fiber, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Selenium, Iron, Vitamins A, B2, B6, C, E, Niacin, Folate, and Pantothenic Acid. Furthermore, bananas are very easy to digest, seldom cause allergic reactions, and aid the intestines in making a valuable mucous lining.

He has a full  healthy benefits of banana for breakfast while I am making him eggs or oatmeal, then for lunch he eats a full banana before I give him whatever the flavor of the day is(grilled cheese, soup, macaroni, ravioli). That is 2 banana's each day for a little boy. He doesn't really like sweets. For his 1yr birthday, he didn't even want his cake, but we put a banana in front of him and he ate it right up. I know banana's in general are good for babies

The Potassium in bananas often gets a bad rap due to the confusion with sodium (salt). Potassium contributes to healthy blood pressure as well as healthy heart functions. Some studies have suggested that people who consume healthy bananas and other foods high in potassium are less likely to develop atherosclerosis and high blood pressure.

Bananas are often chosen as a first food for babies, and it's no wonder why. Sweet, tasty and nutritious, many babies respond eagerly to the new taste. As more and more parents realize that you can skip infant cereal, bananas are a great choice for your baby's first exposure to solid foods.

If your baby is recovering from a nasty bout of diarrhea, bananas can be useful in replacing the lost electrolytes. And if these benefits weren't enough, bananas are also good for the bones and teeth as their consumption is believed to improve the body's uptake of calcium!
